In the world of dentistry, Dr. Armentha Chicas has a unique blend of skill, passion, and personal history that makes her stand out in her field. Born in Haiti and embracing her island roots, Dr. Chicas moved to the United States with her family at the age of 9. Though her heart remains island-bound, she has called the U.S. home for many years. Her family settled in North Carolina in 2006, where she pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Following that, her journey took her to Washington, D.C., to Howard University College of Dentistry, earning her a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Today, she’s returned to the Charlotte area, where her practice, Prosper Dental Studio, is located.

Her path into dentistry started with a simple yet compelling desire to make a difference, one smile at a time. Over the years, this passion has been refined through continuous training, hands-on experience, and an innate understanding of what her patients need and want.
